Counting down the days now till our holiday! Can't wait... according to the above link, as I write this post, we have 47d 11h 20m 14s - is it a bit sad that I'm counting down till our holiday?
Weather here in the UK is less cold but still miserable so a change will be very welcome :-)
Been reading other expat blogs and they all sound so nice... I hope we like Oz enough (and that it can offer everything we need) to take the leap and get a slice of that cake - fingers crossed...

Australia is a very easy place to like and live. I'm sure if you give it a chance you"ll love it. It's got a lot to offer if you come here with your eyes open to the opportunities. You"ll miss home, but there are lots of positives, and of course the blue skies help!
ReplyDeleteHave you been reading some of the forums online? I think one is called Poms down under. Take some of it with a pinch of salt, but you can also pick up a few tips.

ReplyDeleteI have done so much reading and research that I decided to give myself a break and wait till the visit so that we don't get ahead of ourselves... It all sounds great on paper which is why we decided to arrange a visit and start this blog. That way we get to see first hand when we come over and in the meantime exchange views and experiences with others going through it.
